Minutes of meeting of 6/22/06.
In order to increase the turnout, we discussed potential changes to remedy this. We will change the start time of meetings to
7 PM. This would give people more time. General meetings will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. We discussed having monthly meetings on a set schedule such as the 3rd Thursday of the month. This would allow people to make plans. Let us know what you think.
We need to promote the organization more to increase membership. I will start doing some PR pieces. We would like to do some event in September. We invite suggestions of members. We discussed screenings. Jim Jalbert has an extensive film library and he is willing to exhibit some. Montserrat College of Art expressed an interest in our organization. Larry Jaquith will be the liaison with the college. Jim Jalbert has done work at the college and met several students who were interested in film/video. Mike Evers and Jon Hannaford will co chair the Screenings and Exhibition. Jim Jalbert will be the treasurer and I will be the program coordinator.
