Newsletter for w/e 6/18/09

If anyone has any information that they want to share with members, let me know so I can include it in the next blog. If possible please try and send the information several weeks in advance.

One of our members is looking for a sound stage. This will be a low budget film. They would need it for about 2 weeks. They would need a stage of at least 50 to 60′ in depth and 35 to 40′ in width. Also, they would need minimum Lighting equipment needed to cover a set this size would include 4 chimeras or 2 12×12 silks with 4, 5K lamps and then smaller instruments for specialized placement. Perhaps 10 to 15 2k lamps and a complement of smaller units. If you know of any, please contact me and I will forward the information so you can negotiate on price.

We have been busy with productions for the Out and About and the One Great Big Light. The latter was interesting because it was shot film style.

If you know of anyone who assembles prefabricated sheds, please let me know.

Remember, information is updated weekly on the filmnorth.org blog. Check to see if you missed anything.

I am thinking of doing a tweet on a very limited basis. It might be just to let you know when the blog is up. Let me know what you think.

If you know of others who might be interested, please give them our web address and/or have them get on our list.
