CinemaSalem:
WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE (PG) will screen Friday at (4:30), 6:45 and 8:50; Saturday at (12:00), (2:15), (4:30), 6:45 and 8:50; Sunday at (12:00), (2:15), (4:30) and 6:45; and Monday-Thursday at (4:30) and 6:45.

Discount Variety returns Thursday night at the CinemaSalem Café, featuring two great funny musicians, Jeff Savlon and Miki Lupacelli. Since it’s October, feel free to come in costume. The show starts at 8 pm and admission is a measly $5.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS premieres in two weeks, Wednesday, October 28, on the big screen at CinemaSalem, also for free.
Fun Friday night event this week is the double-dip cult screening of ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW and DR HORRIBLE’S SING ALONG BLOG, featuring the Tesaracte Players of Boston. Some of the proceeds benefit Equality Now, a nonprofit organization devoted to the equitable treatment of girls and women throughout the world. That’s Friday at 11 pm.
During this crazy month in Salem, don’t forget to tell the parking attendants that you’re going to the movie theater!
Booksigning by author Ruby Dominguez who’ll be in the CinemaSalem Café on Friday, November 30, from 6:30-8:30, promoting her book, The Peruke Maker. More details later, but here’s the part to remember: A free copy of the book and a free cup of Atomic Café coffee for the first 25 people who show up!

Actors wanted who are very comfortable performing with live RATS. I’ll need an actor to play the role of a character who will be dressed as a whimsical clown “appearing to be trapped” with rats inside a clear fiberglass box. This is for two nights of private halloween parties that will be set up at the entrance of a Haunted House in Newton, Massachusetts. The hired actors will be performing with other fun, creative, acting professionals.
